Chisels - A Buying Guide

Even though a set of chisels will not be high on the list of priorities for many DIYers there is still a need to have them in the tool box. Given the fact that tools such as routers and powers saws have taken much of the hard work out of woodworking does not mean chisels are redundant, there are certain jobs where chisels are indispensable.

Sanders - A Buying Guide

Choosing the right sander for the job can be a little bit confusing with so many different types on the market. You may even need to buy a few different machines to complete a task from start to finish ensuring you don’t have to resort to the old fashioned paper route! In fact I don’t quite know how we all managed before the advent of the electric sander, a simple job like sanding a rough piece of wood for example a door frame, would have taken ages, but now it is a 5 minute job when you have the correct tool.
